Free Warrant Search | Look Up Jail Inmates.

Use the buttons below for access to criminal and traffic courts to search for warrants, look up criminal or traffic court case info, or to make on line payment for a Traffic Ticket.  We also have links to find Jail Inmates where available.  Just select the State and County where you want to search, and you will have immediate access to those government sites and on-line services where available. 

Online access to case and warrant info varies widely from court to court, but we tried to provide the best available resources we could find.  You may need to check the "on line services" section of the Court's web site to get the info you want.

How to Search for Warrants for Free:  Warrants are court orders from pending court cases. The most accurate source for info on a warrant is the court clerk's office in the court where the case is pending.  Some, but not all courts publish case and warrant info on line, and many Sheriff's Offices have on-line access to warrant info.  You may want to check both the court's web site and Sheriff's web site. If you do not know exactly what courthouse to check, check the county court where the incident you are worried about happened. How to Look Up Court Case Info:  Many courts allow on line searches by name, drivers license, birthday or some such combo.  Not all courts have on line searches. Most courts have separate Traffic and Criminal case divisions and separate searches for each.  You may have to check both is you have a misdemeanor or failure to appear problem.

County Courthouse
 		Link to the local court handling Traffic and Criminal offenses. Here you can find court contact info, night court hours, how to schedule a court date, and directions to a courthouse.

Warrant Search
 		Link to local on line access to court case info and warrant records. The quality of on line access varies greatly from court to court, but use these links to search for warrants and to look up court case info. Nearly all warrants are issued from pending court cases, and in general the best place to get info on a warrant is by reading the courts file on the underlying case.

Traffic Tickets
 		Use this button to get local information on how to pay for current Traffic Tickets and Citations on line. This option generally works for infraction only tickets that are presently due (such as a speeding ticket you got last month), but will not work for misdemeanor or failure to appear cases.

Sheriff Home
 		Use these links to local Sheriff Department web sites to find information on warrants, Sheriffs work program sign ups, inmate visitations, DUI check points, and arrests. Some Sheriffs have access to on-line warrant searches in their jurisdiction, but users with warrants are advised to check with the court clerk directly to get detailed info on a warrant case.

 		On line search and look up for county jail inmates. Want to find your friend who was just arrested? Most counties publish on line access to inmates in county jail with information on how to contact the jail, post bail, and visit an inmate.
