Big, big courthouse. No online access to case or warrant information. Free EZ Parking. Can be long security lines to 9:30 a.m.

Gale/Schenone Hall of Justice
Pleasanton Courthouse
5672 Stoneridge Drive
Pleasanton, Ca 94588

Limited free parking.  Close to BART, but it is a long walk.  Allow extra 25 minutes or the walk.  Long lines to enter building start at 7 am.  Huge lines to see over worked court clerks.  They do have a separate window for attorney business.  This court will issue warrants for failure to appear as a misdemeanor violation of Vehicle Code section 40508(a). Add ons possible before 8:30.  Call (925) 227-6700 in advance for walk in confirmation.  They only allow walk ins on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday at last check.  Call in advance.

This court is adding Civil Assessment fines (see penal code section 1214.1) to all cases where they think a court date was missed.  The court is requiring Defendants who want to challenge this to use a very limited local "mandatory" form called a Petition to Vacate Assessment.  In my opinion this is illegal and violated Penal Code section 1214.1(d).  See our www.trafficcourtblog.com article on the best way to challenge the Civil Assessment.
